At Into the Blue, we have implemented the following steps to increase hygiene, and to minimise the risk of infections:
We have used the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to help us decided on what steps to implement:
Premises:
- We routinely clean all frequently touched surfaces in the dive centre, such as workstations, countertops, and doorknobs, with a disinfectant. We also disinfect vehicles each day.
Rental equipment:
- Second stage for regulators, masks, snorkels, BCD Oral inflators are all soaked in a disinfectant solution after being used (bleach and steramine)

- Private dives/Courses – talk to us if you would like to sign up for this option
- Personal mouthpiece on regulators: We are happy to provide you with your own brand new mouth piece for your rental regulator at cost price, should you prefer.
